Benchmark

Set up your account

Your name opens your account. Your code carries your rates. The two never meet.

An invitation is the only way in. It was sent to one address and it works once — so use the address we sent it to, and choose a password.

Here’s what happens to a document you upload:

  1. C-4471 signs in. That’s a code, not a name.
  2. C-4471 uploads a document.
  3. When the crossing is built, what will be taken out is the company name · the project · the client · the exact date · the file reference
  4. What will be left — the item, the unit, the rate, what kind of work it was, whether the rate was stated on the document or worked out from it, and the quarter it was sent in — will join the benchmark.

You can remove any document, and its rates go with it — yours to take back at any time, with no reason asked. And we never compare your rates against a tender you’re currently bidding.

Why would you give a QS practice your rates? Because the next time a client tells you you’re expensive, you’ll be able to show them you’re not.

No invitation? Tell us who you are and we will come back to you.
